Gluugle Launch

Untitled

Gluugle has to be one of the best gluten free inventions yet.  A very clever app designed by Caz from the Gluten Free Foodie that shows you a list of all the gluten free restaurants / cafes located around you with the click of a button, where ever you are in the UK. All the reviews are done by allergy sufferers themselves who have visited and had a positive experience, so you won’t be caught out travelling all the way to somewhere to be told ‘oh we don’t do gluten free bread anymore’. Sign up for free and you can be a part of the app by adding

your own reviews and tips to help others.

I was invited to the launch of Gluugle a couple of weeks ago at the Truscott Arms and got to meet Caz and lots of other  gluten free bloggers and brands so it was a great networking event. The best part was the incredible gluten free food supplied by Truscott Arms and Wild Thexton. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the treats they had for us (check it out below); gourmet scotch eggs, fish and chips, bruschetta, crispy beef chips and donuts for dessert. All totally gluten free and delicious! The mock rye bread and donuts were made by Tom at Wild Thexton (a GF supplier to Michelin starred restaurants and 5 star hotels) you can find out more about him via his website- http://www.wildthexton.com .  If you are ever around North West London go try out Truscott Arms too as most of their menu is gluten free. A wonderful evening all round! Check out the photo of me doing my best ‘networking’ pose 😉
